Operation Theatre

Paramount General Hospital & ICCU has two operation theaters, Major Operation Theater and Minor Operation Theater.

Major Operation Theater

In keeping with its vision of providing best technological and quality services to patients, Paramount General Hospital has introduced for the first time a state-of-the-art OperationTheater, equivalent to class 100 Operation Theater as per recommendations of NABH (National Accreditation Board for hospital & Healthcare providers), an ideal Operation Theater for Joint replacement surgeries.

Laminar Flow with 0.3 µ HEPA filters.
2 air locks to maintain a uni-directional air flow using pressure tranducers.
Latest Draeger Fabius Plus anaesthesia machine for better and safe anaesthesia options.
State-of-the-art Schiller monitoring of patients during surgeries. ​
Multimobil 5E C-arm with IITV from Siemens with excellent imaging and minimal radiation exposure for accurate intra operative imaging.
Flooring also of today’s international Gold Standard anti static conductive material from GerFlor to eliminate malfunction of critical monitoring equipments due to electrostatic discharge.

Minor Operation Theater

Minor Operation theater is fully equipped with all the latest high tech monitors to carry out any emergency or planned surgery, e.g. biopsies, gynaec procedures, fractures, vaginal deliveries, RTA (Road Traffic Accidental Traumas) etc.

Our OT is class100 4th generation OT (as per the recommendation of NABH) Operation Theater, which is of the only kind in the entire area. It is equipped with high tech equipment and machinery for complicated surgeries.
